Well it's here first, neither GTAPSP or GTAVCS have gone the extra mile to bring you the missions like we have.

Mission 1: Say Cheese

You may have felt that a lot of the missions from earlier GTA games were a little linear, well Rockstar have noticed and they’re now putting more effort into making missions more interesting and balanced upon different skills. The main reasoning is that Rockstar want to make missions in VCS have a larger depth and have more variety rather than the short missions of LCS. A lot of this thinking can be seen within the first mission:
Victor Vance is need of some extra money, and has heard about a job opening up at the film studios on Prawn Island. The company there is in need a stuntman, and guess who’s going to fill the slot. Vic arrives gets on a jet ski, for the first time. Now the aim of the mission is to keep on the right course driving round the bay, whilst the film studio’s cameras catch you on video from the following helicopter. Remembering not to crash the thing otherwise you’ll be knocked off and have to swim back to the Jet Ski. This mission really illustrates how the water physics have been improved in VCS, as well as the unique way that the Jet Ski handles.
In fitting style of course for a stuntman there are of course a number of jumps you’ll have to do for the video, including one, which will have you flying over a road. But it’s not over just yet, off the Jet Ski and onto a bike. Now of course you’re driving round the city at high speed, which is now just that much better with the bike physics upgraded.

Mission 2: Jump Ship

Lance has found out that Brian Formes an affiliate of Vic and Lance is actually an under cover cop. Lance then goes onto kidnap Brian and proceeds to beating useful information out of the man. Lance then finds out that down at the docks, there’s a big drug deal going on and it’s just right for the taking. Lance can’t do it alone and he needs you, Vic, to watch his back. So Vic makes his way up to the top of a roof nearby and by using the now included binoculars keeps careful watch on Lance. Naturally Lance screws it up and ends up getting caught.
The drug seller and the now kidnapped lance speed off through out the harbour on a speedboat, giving you no chance to get Lance back there and then. Then there’s only one thing for it, into a sports car and floor the pedal after the speedboat chasing them along a parallel road. Like the bike and boat physics, the car physics are also upgraded making corners that much easier and that much more realistic. Chasing after the boat, Vic ends up near a large tanker, going on to hit a ramp at high speed to land on the tanker. Gun at the ready Vic fills the nearest enemy with lead then proceeds down into the ship taking out anyone so unlucky to get in the way.

Mission 3: Taking The Fall

Lance has had some trouble with one of the city’s biker gangs, and he wants to cause them some trouble in turn. So Vic and Lance get in a maverick helicopter, leaving Vic piloting and Lance shooting from the window. Now in the mission you have to keep nice and low, and follow the bikers as they head along the city’s roads so that Lance can take out each of the bikers in turn as they’re travelling along the road.
Unlike in LCS, helicopters have been vastly upgraded control wise and are now much easier to pilot, coupled with the now vastly expanded draw distance, makes for a very fun mission. Following the blips on the radar we zero in on the bikers, then keeping the maverick nice and level it’s up to Lance to pick them all off. Then it’s to a construction site so that Lance can get rid of the rest of the biker gang. But in true Lance style, he manages to be on the ground amid all the biker’s gang who are let’s say not the happiest to see him.

Mission 4: Turn On, Tune In, Bug Out

This mission starts at the Vance’s newly acquired mansion, indeed we did say mansion, you may start in a trailer park but the game will finish with true riches and style. First off you’re off to buy a rocket launcher to cause the cops trouble. Once you’ve got the nasty heavy weaponry on your shoulder it’s off to each of the cop shops in turn to blow up each of the receivers at the shops. But if blowing up things with rocket launchers doesn’t satisfy you then you’ll be pleased to hear the mission doesn’t end there. There’s car chases, helicopter shootouts, and even parasailing swat teams, which make an action packed mission of Vice City Stories
